The Celebration Ostomy Support Belt is a simple design made of composite material (for long life and easy care).  Designed to better manage the weight of your pouch to prevent swaying. 

 

Care Instructions: Hand wash in warm water with mild detergent. Hang dry. Clean plastic hernia plate and stoma shield with mild detergent and wipe dry.

 

Wear Instructions: First, affix your appliance (skin barrier and pouch) over your stoma. Second, put the hearnia plate into its pocket on the belt. Place the belt opening in front of the wafer and pull pouch through opening.  Pull belt ends around your body for a snug fit. Secure belt with velcro ends.  Stoma shield can be fitted into the belt for protection.  Fold the parts of the pouch stabilizing poket around the pouch (to reduce pendulum effect of a full pouch).  When pouch is empty, fold pocket up and secure with velcro strip at the top of the belt.

 

Sizing: Standard opening is 2-3/8".  A 2-3/4" opening is available upon request.  The belt can be worn on either right or left side and accomodates colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy appliances.
